About oSnipe

Have you ever spent hours upon hours constantly refreshing every known NFT marketplace eagerly awaiting one of your favorite NFT’s to get listed? That’s exactly what 0xQuit was doing back in September of 2021 when he was hunting for his forever Bored Ape. After spending days in front of his computer, he came up with the idea to build out an alert system so that he would get a notification when an ape that matched his specifications was listed.

Quit built out the tool and set its sights on a Bored Ape that matched his three must have traits: bored mouth, bored eyes, and no clothing. Weeks went by as he waited for that alert to hit. Finally, one day Ape #8903 was listed for sale. quit was promptly alerted and was able to snipe the monkey. The tool was successful, oSnipe was born.

What started as a personal tool for Quit very quickly gained popularity with community members he shared it with, so popular that he had to start limiting users. Constant demand forced him to have to actively be removing inactive members so others could join. This led Quit to explore the idea of turning oSnipe into an access pass type NFT. People would be able to use it until they got what they needed then sell it to someone else.
